WE too, had a 'blizzard' this past weekend...1 foot between sat morn and last evening...and yup! It was yesterday afternoon, during a lull, 15 minutes AFTER my 'snow shovel people" got the sidewalks and drives shoveled...the city trucks came thru and pushed it right back, from the streets, to the sidewalks and the drives!!! About 2 hours later, a neighborhood boy, working on his stockpile of money for the day, comes by and shovels off the sidewalks and drives again! By 7pm, the snow trucks had shoved the snow right back onto he sidewalks once more! I just looked outside---looks like I need to hire again, to get the snow plowed...
Just as I am no longer surprised that the trucks sit at the end of the streets, waiting until everyone has shoveled out their driveways, before they rev up the engines to shove the snow from the street back into the driveways.....I am no longer surprised that supposed announcements did not come out RE: TKO!!!!! Why should I expect anything other than the way 'they always are' based on plain 'ol historical eyeballing!!!?? It's h-a-a-rr-d to change your 'status quo'.
