yeah both points are equally bad moves from the company
this wasn't an honest mistake, its either one of these 2 things:
1. they are very incompetent
or
2. they have malicious intents
I am leaning towards the number 2 as I have caught them insider trading right on the day the letter was written (there were milions of shares dumped into the public float)
I got my letter. Did you not get the letter? My understanding is that the letter was communicated through the transfer agent to the brokerage houses who hold shares for their clients. Don’t think this was some diabolical plan as some here state. I got my letter after some others. This is how they chose to communicate their plans.
I have read here that some feel this is “shady af” stuff. They did not report an actual split, but only authorized the ability to do so down the road. The reason for a future split is to move to a larger exchange.
I don’t think their communication was “shady af” at all. What is shady is when other companies actually execute a split without having stated their intentions.
