I have a long standing account with Zion/AST.

Go to zionoil.com then click on Invest and it will step you through it.

The downside to buying through DSPP is that it takes several days for the shares to show up in your AST account, then several days to move them to your broker. So, it takes about a week before you can sell. Do not sell them in the AST account!
