That is a smart strategy. Things have been delayed more times than not. But I think management is being intentionally pessimistic about timelines. They don't want investors harassing government officials when an optimistic timeline isn't met. Investors got a little crazy last July/August when the EUA didn't come quickly. Investors writing on government officials' Twitter pages telling them they are corrupt and incompetent isn't a good look. No one reacts well to be personally attacked and government officials are human. So it is smart to not get investor's hopes up about topline data coming quickly especially when HGEN doesn't control the trial. It is better to underpromise and overdeliver than overpromise and underdeliver.
