The uncharacteristic silence from NP is disconcerting to those short a lot of shares. A cancelled CC and a big quiet while some "heavy-duty" events are coming into play means they can't walk away from their screens.
Any moment NP could pull the rug out from under their feet and leave them scrambling. I love it!
And as to all the "saber-rattling" re: SEC and DOJ...that some people are pumping. The 10Q is quite clear, they're collecting information and despite some of the moldy baloney we hear every day...neither the SEC or DOJ has stated their target(s). Could be a lot of folks will find themselves in hot water.
So >>> go to it SEC and DOJ!
Maybe it's time for the SEC to take a closer look at the shenanigans they should be putting a halt to.
The GAME STOP craziness brought the fickle eye of the Senate (Remember Senator Waters Committee) asking for answers. Guess the investigation(s) might have revealed the slimey workings that were formerly (politely) overlooked.
Instead of worrying about the outcome, we could easily be applauding it!
Lots of orange jump suits to go around, some heavy duty legal expenses coming up, and some new rules, regulations, and interesting corrections to how things are done in the future.
