I am a former corporate lawyer in New York. White shoe law firms only care about getting paid. It's very expensive to pay rent, support staff, and Associate salaries. Sidley has $9.2M reasons over a 3 month period to represent Cytodyn. If Cytodyn stops paying the bills, no more representation. Understand?
Also, you are right in one respect. Sidley must be desperate to earn the revenue. My former firm would never have taken on a client like Cytodyn.
If it had to do with "potential" then every gangster and criminal would not have a lawyer.
Also, Sidley case was only focused on 13d. They could care less about data or efficacy.
Despite me agreeing with many things people say here I disagree regarding Sidley ability to pay bills. They are one of the top in the country. They took the case because they only focused on 13d and now Amarex contract BUT HAVE BLINDERS TO EVERYTRHING ELSE.
