the plan was to be on land already owned by Brookfield I think at the muddy run dam (where they create hydro by pimping up water at night using excess electricity from the regular dam in the river.
both the muddy run and the main dam have limited land they own.
I am guessing the council would not be impressed with both extra land usage and possibly traffic through the nice countryside. The Amish are bit like that.
I was pleased to se a photo of the STAMP site (I assume that's what it was) would love a webcam though
