So, after years battling t/aapl, whipping ass on both @ PTAB, VPLM has decided to drop cases against the two(NO ONE ELSE, MIND YOU) and VPLM didn't see/gain some kind of advantage??? Does that make logical sense? I would suggest not.

Oh, all quiet on the situation...does that seem logical? It seems logical if discussions are taking place, OR MAYBE Emil just switched from PC to Mac/vz to t wireless?

As stated multiple times "without prejudice" simply means the case can be re-filed in the future. It does not mean that the dismissal is in any way favorable to VPLM.

And it certainly doesn’t mean it’s favorable for either AT&T and Apple, now does it?

In case you forgot, VPLM’s suing both of them. Correct? Well, why then would it be favorable for them to agree to dismiss, when it was dismissed “without prejudice”. If it were dismissed, “with prejudice”, then you’d have a more valid point. The fact, it can be reinstated, shows who’s in the position of strength. And that’s VPLM.

Also, remember that just added two additional lawsuits.
