Hell if I have found the technique. Still guess work for me. When I find that technique that works for me, I will let you know. Might want to take a seat, have a good book to read and plenty of booze within reach, you will probably have a long time to wait.

At this 'investment thingy' since 1980. I have been treading red water most of the time. Only recently have I begun to catch on and at least know what I am looking for to invest in.

If VXIT takes off, I will enter a whole new world of investing. I don't really need the money to live. Fortunately, income from retirement is sufficient to pay whatever bills need to be paid, have a roof over my head and actually have a bit extra fat to live off of if there is a food shortage. Oh, and sufficient beer and cigars to last the remaining years of my life. I am one blessed fella.

Yet I still hate to lose. The market thus far has escaped me. I am not happy about that. I am looking for VXIT to make it possible to be so. I can't wait to lasso that bull!

My goal is having 'free shares', nothing more (but lots of them of course). Once there, it would be nice to have icing on the cake! That is, the base low of the remaining shares would have a high 'base'. Intent would be to use those free shares to free up cash when needed, not to reenter lower or to 'play the game of "buy low" and sell "high"... over and over.

I think I will have sufficient free shares of VXIT to hold long term and hopefully have those shares make money while I spend less than what they do. If not, yes, I will draw down those shares as needed.

This time, once I draw out what I put in, I do not expect to have more shares of freebies than I do have at that point. I will be moving on from VXIT... but never forgotten?

And make another killing elsewhere of course!
