As are most stocks under $5 are “down more than 50% from recent highs”. It is not whether stocks drop or not. All drop especially those under $5 obviously or they would not continue to be under $5 year after year. It’s whether or not a company can produce profits (or not) to sustain any increase in the pps to move it over $5 to consistently stay over $5. IMO, Over the last 10 years, Sigma has proved they can’t. Don’t get me wrong. I like to trade Sigma. I trade it often, it has been profitable, trading contrarian to the hype. Mainly because after any paid Sigma PR, Sigma will often fail to provide anything that would sustain the pps at what ever higher level it gets to. I am no longer a fan of the company, I am however a fan of trading it’s shares. BTW, I never short SGLB. (Not a recommendation to buy or sell).
