Banger - You forgot about the flying cars and colonies on Mars. Are you quoting "Popular Science" or "Popular Mechanics"?

It doesn't matter what kind of electricity you use, it still takes twice as much electrical energy to split water than you net in hydrogen energy.

So in the best case, Hydrogen is twice the price of electricity.
