Medtronic is fine. In case you forgot, the last year and a half have been under a pandemic where elective procedures were canceled for 6+ months in most hospitals. We are going through another surge and many hospitals are over capacity with Covid patients (see links below) and elective procedures are being canceled again, especially those requiring overnight stays after the procedure.

If the hospitals are not doing surgical procedures, then no one‘s buying surgical devices etc. Additionally, there has been very little movement on new product evaluations as they are not the priority over the last year plus. That means no new business for most surgical device companies.
