My point was this company's past...

sordid as it may be, is only relevant to those to whom the past is relevant. You cant hide the company's past by changing its name. It is was it is. It's a lot like your post. 80% is totally irrelevant to me, but all of it appears critically relevant to you. Ergo, relevance is relative.

And, I didnt say there was a "problem". I said the past was the past and I said its relevance is relative. In other words, its only a problem for those who choose to make it a problem relevant to them personally. That's not contradictory to my position in the least.
