I saw them, which is why I said "you are correctly quoting my post". I wanted to make it clear for anyone else that the first sentence wasn't mine.

As you know, when a person responds to a post using quotation marks the assumption is made that the person quoted is the person being responded to. You were technically correct but you could have made it clearer.
