I'm not sure about the skewing of results. I'm sure if a patient did get covid they would be eliminated from the trial and it wouldn't really be a fact in the scoring.
As for slowing enrollment, its very possible. It's also possible they are trying to "over enroll" in case some are forced to drop out due to covid. I expect enrollment to be completed this month, at least if there's any reasonable expectation of results in q4 next year. Covid certainly is a wild card in trial timelines, but unlikely an issue as to results IMO.
