I didn't say it. Your beloved CEO did.

"Brilacidin did not show a difference compared to placebo in reducing Time to Sustained Recovery Through Day 29, the study’s primary endpoint based on clinical status."

In other words the stuff didn't work.

“You know that’s bullshit… Com’on. In the Trump era the normal typical patient had cancer, obesity, high blood press“

I believe in the present era of COVID, the conditions you note(you left out age) are prey much the same, perhaps additional medical conditions added? Those are the sme then as they are now. No change, other than level of concern, acknowledged by world leaders, not swept under the rug, by one, as in the past.

This is a very interesting and valid point you make. Had one (1) less patient died on treatment arm then things would look very different now. A much deeper dive into the data is needed here.
However, would BP have partnered if only 1 less patient on treatment arm died. I doubt it until all data analyzed.
On the flip side, after data is fully analyzed, I believe there is some hope BP or uncle Sam will take notice.
Personally, I'm accumulating the meager amount I can. I'm not recommending that gamble. I just can't resist it myself.
