Virosense has private investors who paid for shares of that company, and in the aggregate with the insiders own it all, privately. Acquiring would require real money, cash, and more than $60. They won't take stock because there are shareholders of EGYF that haven't invested a plug nickel in Virosense who'd wind up owning part of it.
This guy seems pretty skilled at keeping the active stuff separated from the public company.
