Wouldn't ask "now". It wont happen til Dec 20 earliest. If you want to get in before, that would be the date.
Normal a reverse split would increase price after it happens. I was dumbfounded at the drop the announcement of the split had; since everyone saw it coming.
Maybe some of those newly converted shares were timed to be dumped on the market the day of the announcement to hide the dump? If so, same thing could happen again.
