Most will follow. The discount brokers desire additional revenue. Loaning our long positions of CYDY common to shorts was one source of income. Sending our buys and sell tickets to OTC Market Makers for a fee isnt enough. Any amount of income isnt enough.
I believe Schwab was a leader of the discount revolution. They will lead others to raise fees.
If you enjoy your broker lending YOUR shares out to Short Sellers; do nothing.
