And I proudly helped fund that research by buying shares in the companies that were doing this research. No basement grower is going to give up his profits to fund research and development. No modern scientist are willing to do the research without being paid a grant or being sponsored by a big institution. This is why I am here! We end up living in this world, we complain about how bad “thise” people are but do not lift a finger to make the changes necessary to see the betterment of society. Average people have the chance to impact the world in a meaningful way. We can do it right and make money. When a company starts to just be about money and not making the world a better place I put my energy elsewhere.
