FDA should take these new variants into consideration as part of the risk with not giving Lenz an EUA. The scale should tip towards Lenz where reward is greater than the risk. And hopefully additional data does the same.

Yep, lenz being variant agnostic should make an authorizations by the MHRA and FDA a no-brainer. Lenz's safety data is sparkling clean so any potential risks are solely theoretical. This winter is going to have 2 bad waves. First will be the Delta winter that we've already entered and then an even worse Nu winter. Nu's devastating potential should help sway government opinion in lenz's favor.
