GM Al, the article doesnt say what the vaccinated people are being hospitalized for. And how old the patients are.

So 50% of the population is vaccinated - but of course 20% of the population was under 18, so in fact it is probably closer to 70% of the elligible population is vaccinated.

And we all know that people over 65 and especially over 70 are nearly 100% vaccinated.

And we all know that older people are admitted to hospitals waaaay more than younger people. Whether theyre vaccinated or not.

So without a further breakdown of age and reason, this story is meaningless. The fact that this story is only carried (and copied) by right wing outlets also doesnt help.

New cases are starting to rise even here in Maryland. But so far hospitalization occupancy has not. In theory, the symptoms in vaccinated people are less severe so hospitalizations shouldnt increase proportionally. I'll let you know if they do or dont.
