Which is why Medtronic LICENSED the IP for all the working elements of the SP platform…they licensed the elements that would be difficult to create without infringing on someone’s patent…also would take a long time to crate from scratch.
That’s why they licensed the Titan IP.

Sometimes the most obvious possibilities are the hardest one to digest. Mac is ruthless. He has stuck it not only to retail investors but also to the gang who are putting up 10 million at a go.

Trust me if these patents were $10-million each like someone here have espouse, the company would’ve sold for 2 billion already. They’re not worth that much. That’s why Medtronic only least a small group of them. (why buy a footpedal patent for 10 to 20,000,000, when you can just draw from your illustrious state of engineers to re-design a new foot controller etc.)

Now some have estimated that it’s going to take Medtronic 4-5 years to catch up on building a single port robot. McNally just fully open the door… Or to put another way, spread all of our collective cheeks nice and wide for MDT to scoop us up on the cheap.

I may be revisiting my 200 to $300 million buyout figure depending on the price action in the next couple of weeks. It could get ugly. Actually let me correct that. It’s already ugly. It could get disastrous and quick.

Prediction: med Tronic buys out vicarious for 4.5 billion in the next year. Mark this post!

Show me where MDT has ever specifically mentioned their interest in acquiring ENOS? If you remember the famous Titan whiteboard picture, it indicated the MDT partnership was a separate project from ENOS development.

Here is another thing to ponder… IF MDT was/is interested in acquiring ENOS, could Milestone 4 have been killed by the new timeline? Perhaps Milestone 4 is/was the IDE timeline - which has not been met.
