I have a R1S on order and a Cybertruck on order. The cybertruck is for work and R1S my wife’s vehicle. Rivians decision to not try and compete head to head with Tesla was a smart one.
Vans instead of semi trucks etc. Pretty great plan IMO
R1T is aimed at a different group than the cybertruck.
It’s a Niche truck not for the REAL Truck buyers only for those who want to FEEL like they have a truck for the Looks and Feel like they have a OUTDOOR Vehicle…
It’s similar to a Toyota Tacoma but slightly Smaller interior…
I put a preorder on a R1S which is their SUV 6 seater… Hopefully They Speed up their production as it’s ONLY 3-4 a Day Production at this time and Backlogged if you order now until 2023… So the demand will die down and will get a lot of cancellations if they don’t Ramp up the Volume of production…
