not even close to accurate. AS deal is for distal UC only. Right? oral B would be for all other UC and for Crohns. Therefore all other IBD focus- with the exception of the already licensed rectal product-is in doubt.

It is a very big deal esp when your CEO has hyped and hyped B for IBD

That is the take of an investor watching the tape all day.

The take in the lab is, "Ok, let's work out this kink."

And the take by mgmt is, "Ok, let's be Responsible about reporting this tiny hurdle to the public."

Honestly, I think the focus by mgmt is >Not at ALL< on the mental health of the nervous nellies on message boards, holding their piss and staring at their monitors bc they don't want to miss out on a price change by running to the bathroom.

But rather the focus by mgmt is how to: 1) Word the announcement, and 2) how best to handle the flood of interested partners/buyers.

In terms of #2, if you have ANY clue to the potential impact B has in SO many areas of medicine, you would not just be thinking about "$$$$" . . .

You would be thinking about which potential partners/buyers could best get B into as many other therapies as possible, for as many other diseases as possible. IOW - who has the cash and expertise to really move B into the clinics the fastest.

Reading the comments, it seems like either there are only a small number of people here who have ANY idea the potential for this molecule - or - there might be many but they're just not posting bc it'll get drowned out by nervous nellies relieving their anxiety.
