Take a look at P O L A. It was worth about $3 and was struggling to make a profit (so the $3 might be me being generous). But post S1 it got wash traded all the way up to $25.
Manipulation isn't bad for your portfolio if you are long and the manipulation is pushing it higher. This is going up over $10 -- regardless of all the hand-wringing here about how this or that element of revenues might be getting booked a bit aggressively.
