I agree, all around on both sides, way to many politicians in office in what we would consider retiement years, making decisions that are not relatable to today or tomorrows generations. Greed and Ego are powerful human faults that drive much of this behavior.
Cannabis is still conisdered a gateway "drug" to some people. Howver, it is no more a gateway than alcohol and cigarettes. I would prefer cannabis legalilzed, regulated and as opposed to people resoring to cannabis on the black market. That is when cannabis is a gateway as your neighborhood cannabis dealer may also have other more dangerous and addictive substances to peddle.
A regulated cannabis provides reliable quality and no street addatives.
