That is the only argument that creates a fear IMO. Let me ask how many healthy adults that get Covid will end up with moderate to severe? How many will get tested and then take it in time? Also the results may tempt Gilead & IPIX to run a head to head trial. Wonder who would do better for mild CV? I think , unfortunately there will be enough moderate to severe CV patients around the world for IPIX to be very successful regardless of the treatments for mild CV.

The question will not be relevant if you assume that everyone who gets infected will run to a doctor for a prescription. But that is not the case. We have seen that with the vaccines. People choose, for whatever reason, to wait it out. That's where a therapy for moderate to severally ill patients will come into play. So, no, it's not that simple.
