Bitcoin is mostly an intrinsic value investment; like gold. They are both restricted in supply but desired; however, they have limited practical uses.
ETH has a broad number of use cases solving many decentralized issues. It is a favorite for DeFi and gaming among other things.
However.....
Solana was created to improve and possibly replace ETH with:
- Fraction of a cent transaction fees
- 50,000+ transactions per second
- More scalable
- More secure
- More sustainable
Most cryptocurrency investors, like stock investors, because of their lack of investor analysis, just invest in what's popular. (Lazy investments).
As gamimg, NFT, DeFi and smart contracts grow on Solana, then it will become popular as well.
In my opinion, SOL's price will exceed ETHs with 2 - 3 years. Only because it has been proven to be better than ETH.
ETH was the "Ford" of crypto......there's much better options now.
