Nicely said. Not only that, let's take an example:
If company X tweets audit is coming in the next six months or so. Smart investors looking for opportunity of course will buy their stocks in that company at high pps.
In the mean time, company is touting audit will be completed on time. Now, more folks buy in. Pps moves up.
Suddenly company X tells no audit because they changed their business process or whatever. Audit is not a priority now. What happens next?
Poor investors trusting the company X lose a lot of money. Some smart investors exit with loss. Some loyal investors stay in.
Was that a trap to lure investors? I don't know. But, I fall in the loyal investor in above example. I am feeling the heat now and I feel being fooling myself. That's all I am saying. It's my fault, imho.
