Of course I'm looking for courts to force govt's hands vs. gov't voluntarily doing anything righteous.

In that case, please explain just what it is you expect the courts to do.

Keep in mind the following:

1) No court case is seeking to overturn the conservatorships.
2) The USCFC and Lamberth cases only seek money damages. Some to 2008 shareholders (Washington Federal), some to current junior pref and Freddie common shareholders (Lamberth), and some to FnF themselves (USCFC derivative claims).
3) Collins only wants the seniors cancelled or converted to common. Bhatti and Rop are basically clones of Collins and thus are unlikely to result in anything different.
