I agree the SAFE ACT is likely to be first. There is no reason for that not to go thru.

In regards to “I don’t see legalization before 2025”.

I assume you mean a working full legalization after the initial law is passed. The soonest I would think on the initial law is passed would be next spring. But that would be just the beginning of the process.
Once it becomes FED legal, I would expect to see the FDA to become heavily involved. Some of the things might be purity level guidelines. Min/max THC levels allowed. But that would be just a start. I would guess guidelines on how much you can have, there will be many laws written for that, in others words your not going to be able to have all you want from the FED level. There will still be states where it won’t be allowed. Fed level yes, but States will still have their own laws.

I know they are coming up with a on the spot testing method, last I heard they are still testing it. Once they have that complete, well it would be a game changer.

Some job duties will never be allowed, laws will be written for those, i.e., jury duty, police officers, you’re not going to want having CEO’s or board rooms making decisions when their high, law suit city there. Insurance companies are going to have a dim view as well. A person could go on and on with this.

I would think many laws would need to be written. One of those for me {just a thought for me} is if a cop who had a joint during lunch, then goes out and arrest a drivers/ truck drivers for being UTI while being under the influence themselves. How that would play in a court of law. What if the cop made several arrests daily during week, then it comes out? Dismiss all cases? I don’t believe they will follow the being drunk, laws which were written over a period of decades. The lobbyists are not that strong for THC and the mistakes that were made for one will not be allowed for this.

Again, many laws, guidelines will be influenced by the FDA. As an example, the CBD battles might be a good one to follow FDA working. Hemp law was passed in 2018. Currently CBD is NOT approved by the FDA, they are still doing studies, grab a snicker on that one but it does have a factor on the CBD market and where it can be sold. CBD doesn’t get anybody high, THC will. Many studies I’m guessing on that.

In regards to TRU and many others. Nothing above will stop the tax advantages, the up listing or the price rise this stock will enjoy. The stuff above, depending on what will exactly happen, will have an effect over time, depending, but not at the start. No, at the start there will be a lot of money made.
All IMO.
