My theory is DRGV is Harry's "trial balloon" for his real Ace: SVAD.

He owns a bigger piece of SVAD than of DRGV, so naturally he's going to want his Box Office Boffo Payday from that one.

And DRGV gives him a "warm-up act", so to speak.
