Many have been deceived into believing that “God understands that’s just who I am”, or “God and I have an understanding that this is just how I am”. This is a lie from the great deceiver, and father of lies – satan himself.

False prophets abound on every corner - luring the weak (those whom the seed did not fall upon fertile ground) in the various deceptive lies born from satan himself. Many self-proclaimed Christians have been deceived into believing that their lifestyle of choice is acceptable in the eyes of God - nothing could be further from the Truth. True disciples of Christ remain pliable to the gentle urgings of the Holy Spirit's direction, and willing to "walk it out" - no matter the cost.

Jesus explains this very clearly in the scriptures:

"Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’" ~ Matthew 7:21-23

He also explains how difficult it is to actually "walk out" the Christian life:

“You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell [road that leads to destruction] is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it." ~ Matthew 7:13-14
