Not really. Cramer picks usually do well short term because of his audience size and buying pressure. Then his Hedgie friends take advantage of fear and impatience and drive price down running people off in the mid term.

But it's been shown that most of his picks come back up and do well in the long term.

He did not say to buy AMC. He just made a very strong case of what a great job Adam Aron has done guiding AMC through the last 20 months and how things are looking up in terms of AMC's financial footing, etc. He also noted that there are a lot of buyers of AMC right now keeping the stock price from diving when someone goes out a sells a large block of shares.

If cramer said buy AMC, that's a very bad sign for monkeys
