This is a very critical first step in challenging Regeneron's command of the early administration of monoclonal antibodies. I credit Mayo's investigators, Dr. Zelalem Temesgen, and more directly, Dr. Claudia Libertin, for this. Dr. Libertin had strongly advocated for administering lenz in an out-patient or ER setting. They, along with other Mayo doctors and Humanigen doctors, joined other investigators in authoring this abstract. This should tie-in nicely in support of the group wanting to see lenz administered in a single 1800mg dose. Outpatient demand for Regeneron's mAb is as high as 200k treatments, per week.
