In my experience QC (Quality Control) and QA (Quality Assurance) takes place at the point of manufacture. Manufacturers are subject to regulatory inspection. The owner of the drug often has an employee(s) who offices at the manufacturing site.

Pharmas distribute non-controlled drugs (e.g. antibiotics) via wholesalers that fill pharmacy orders. Since B is not a schedule I or II drug it's highly unlikely that IPIX will face the burden of increased layers of security during manufacture and distribution.

The three main drug wholesalers in the US are AmerisourceBergen, Cardinal Health, and McKesson who buy directly from the manufacturer and distribute directly to the pharmacies or their regional distribution centers. The supply chain and distribution channels for non-controlled drugs is quite similar to OTC (Over the Counter) drugs.

"I wonder if two person virtual company IPIX has a functioning QMS?"
