Not Chinese. “Evonik Industries AG is a stock-listed German speciality chemicals company headquartered in Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.” They have a very large facility in Vietnam, which may confuse some.

Maybe. We know that they DID.

Evonik was mentioned in two press releases in 2018 and 2019, with the latter saying:
"April 9, 2019: Achieved enhancements in manufacture of Brilacidin Phase 3 drug supply. This builds on the earlier contract signed with Evonik to facilitate and refine bulk production of commercial-grade Brilacidin and on the drug product agreement signed with CoreRx to formulate Brilacidin into granular form in unit sachets, providing OM patients with a convenient, portable, quick-mixing “instant” Brilacidin oral rinse therapy."

They were mentioned in 4 filings...The 10-Ks of 2018, 2019 and 2020 and a Post-effective amendment in 2019. All single mentions in the same sentence in the Manufacturing section:
"By way of example, the Company contracted with two Contract Drug Manufacturing Organizations, Evonik Corporation and CoreRx, for preparation of Brilacidin commercial-grade drug substance and drug product, respectively."
The sentence was eliminated in the most recent 10-K.


So IPIX got their brilacidin from EVONIK, but do they still?
No terms of the contract with Evonik were ever provided.
