Actually, the sky only appears to be blue when sunlight enters the atmosphere and the different colors within the light scatter. Blue light is scattered more than the other colors because it travels as shorter, smaller waves. Thus, the sky is not blue at night.

You still haven't proven that dilution is happening here.
