The problem with all of the Canadian LP's, at least as I see it, is they are paying their executives as if these were fortune 500 companies, when they are all bleeding cash like crazy. Everyone thinks that when the US legalizes all these LP's will be viable. I disagree the MSO's in the states are already profitable and making big cash, why in the hell do they need Canada??? Canada had a 2 year head start in legalization and blew it in every way possible.
So my suggestion is start paying these LP execs what they are worth, based on real performance. We should probably start at minimum wage.
If someone can explain Simon's performance bonuses after hearing the ER, I would be happy to hear it as long as it is based on past performance and not future pipe dreams.
TLRY's merger with APHA in some ways reminds me of the asset grab that ACB tried.
