I didn't buy the coins either for the same reason. But I did buy the stock over a year ago and just sat on it based on the info they were putting out. All along understanding it all looked too good to be true, but I also buy lottery tickets now and then as well as hit the casino. Just like Kenny Rogers, ya gotta be a gambler sometimes ;)
