Note they didn't say 'wreck sites'. I would bet dollars to doughnuts (as the saying goes) these alleged targets are sub-bottom "Geo-Georges", as the industry calls them. They are in all likelihood parabolic point-source reflections (parabolas), typical in sub-bottom profile surveys. I suspect that in few of the fact that they apparently have no trained geophysicist doing the assessments they know nothing about what they're looking at. So one may assume they are going to check out all these 'sites' using the Tommy toy with the super duper analytical metal detector. Plus or minus fifteen years and apparent these people learn little as I've stated before.
