You're right. It was the "You own it. It’s part of your post" bit that freaked me out. I think it should be enough to put quotes around a statement made in a responsive post, indicating that it was obviously the words and thoughts of the author. There shouldn't be an obligation to specifically refute those words in order to avoid having them attributed to you.

Hi LilKahuna, hope things are well. I remember the total OS was around 91M when I first invested 10 years ago, that's why I said it was under 100M.

As of June 30, 2011, a total of 91,720,646 of the Company’s common stock (shares) are outstanding and held by approximately 75 shareholders of record.
