If I may add to that great post JK!

Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure (JEDI) $10B contract was awarded to MSFT in 2019, but AWS said hold on and challenged. The DoD decided to regroup and not go thru drawn out legal battles therefore causing delays for the warfighter cloud, and going with a Multi-Award -- MSFT and AWS should both get awards, along with few others like Oracle, etc. The new program is called Joint Warfighter Cloud Capability (JWCC) and looking for Multi-Awards to take place o/a APR 2022 for 5 year contracts. This will turn out to be much more than $10B.

It's all about Cyber Security and keeping the hacker/thieves out! This is a red hot sector and will be forever! ;-)
