naval. looking at stocks is what i do when i'm not doing anything.
we don't have a tv and i need something passive that gets me mildly
excited or pissed off or wondering, somewhat the way watching
different shows did. in sub-penny and penny land, it's not at all about the money. it's about a company that's interesting to me and
seems to have promise, sometimes great promise. mr. snaper and
the idea of man-made, mass produced diamonds was a nice hook. very
early on i realized chas radovich was the kiss of death, albeit
with a lot of tongue action. posting what i post is also a form
of self-entertainment. i don't think i've ever posted anything
helpful or nicely based on some good solid dd even once. not about
ctdt, not about any company. i type fast, don't edit or re-read,
get something out of my system, then am often ready to re-engage
some activity i care about, that matters to me. occasionally
someone i know personally has told me they enjoyed a post of mine,
not because they learned anything but because of how i write.
i think i'm sort've annoying--you can say that again--and like
the cheapo stocks i scribble about, ultimately not worth a damn...
on the other hand, i've always found your posts to be thoughtful
and straight-shooting. i only wish we were posting about a business
that amounted to a little something. oh well. all the best!
