Acting Director Thompson reminds me of Mr. Otting, who was acting director before MC. Mr. Otting had everything ready in a short time for the new director MC to push the button to release the GSEs. But, MC just walked back everything and came up with a non-starter 4% Capital Requirement. I am still not sure whether MC did that intentionally to set us up or just being stupid.
