Thet truth is no one on this MB knows whether either of these patients is alive or how they have reacted to brilacidin. I do know one of them is still in hospital and struggling according to her next-of-kin.
I also know that no person who:
"handles IRB, informed consent and must report adverse reactions"
would ever, as claimed, leak the status of patients who ghad received compassionate use drug (or any other patients actually).
If it came to light they'd be fired instantly. Think about it for a minute.
HIPPA compliance is indeed necessary so no one could post an update like this and be truthful:
"Both Facebook parties are doing well and credit Brilacidin! Great news!.........
Family and staff do credit Brilacidin for the progress achieved."
