OT Red Cross

Apparently when these highly-publicized disasters occur, the Red Cross gets lots of donations, some of which go to the actual disaster, and some goes into the cofffers to help victims of less well-known disasters.

Contributors were upset when they heard all of the money they gave for the 9/11 victims wasn't used in that disaster, but where is the money to come from to help the victims of smaller disasters that no one donates for? Makes sense to me that they "manage" contributions as they do, and keep some of the donations from large disasters to help victims of smaller disasters.

OT, I think it was the United Way that had problems in the past.

Hi SamO,

Sorry about the public reply.

Quick lesson in saving a chart.

First find the chart you want to save for future reference. Like this one:

Then right click on the chart it's self and click on Properties. You will get the URL for that chart.

http://quotes.ino.com/chart/intraday.gif?s=FOREX_XAUUSDO&t=f&w=15&a=2&v=

hilite the http:// and cut it off the URL. You will be left with: quotes.ino.com/chart/intraday.gif?s=FOREX_XAUUSDO&t=f&w=15&a=2&v=

Put the remaining part of the URL between [*chart][*/chart] (don't use the **s. They are just in there for you to be able to see the signal) and post it all as a message on IH somewhere. Then save the posted message as a favorite and you are in business.
