I own UPS as well. Fedex just said what everyone knows already. So Fed Ex took the hit and of course the same applies to UPS.
The kid just got another $1 an hour raise since they don't want him jumping ship to Amazon not that he would.
He is training 2 a day now and still manages to meet his loading numbers for the highest at the hub.
They pay hourly but raises are based on packages handled per shift. So to a degree it is also piece work. Right now they don't let anyone go. They just don't get a raise as soon as they could.
I do the grocery shopping and I can assure you the supply chain is broken across the board and has been for a while.
He and I both own PEP and COKE. Both can't make enough Gatorade or Powerade fast enough to keep it on the shelves.
