Pure capitalism will IMO lead to Marxism over time as its insanely cruel and at some point - 95% of wealth is in the hands of 1/10th of one percent and the revolution starts

I do believe that

we - here - have Social Security - Medicare - Medicaid - Public Education - State Universities - Unemployment Insurance - SNAP -- and many other Social or socialism oriented --- programs that soften the edges of pure capitalism - at a solid level (if we get back to a normative tax system and not the insane bias we have now --- from which I have in the past benefitted with each change since RR --- but now think $400,000 and higher having 2% - 3% more at the margin is a start)
